SmartXchange provides a platform for users to trade and sell goods directly. We are not a party to the transactions, but we provide tools to help resolve issues.
1. The Nature of the Marketplace
Most items on SmartXchange are pre-loved and sold "as-is." Unless explicitly stated otherwise by the seller, all sales and trades are final.
2. When a Resolution is Appropriate
Users are encouraged to negotiate a resolution if:
- The item is significantly not as described (e.g., wrong item, major undisclosed damage).
- The item was never shipped or delivered.
- The item is proven to be counterfeit.
3. Dispute Resolution Process
If an issue arises, you must first attempt to resolve it directly with the other user via the trade message thread. If a resolution cannot be reached, you can "File a Complaint" through the trade interface.
Our admin team will review complaints and may take actions such as suspending accounts, adjusting SmartScores, or providing mediation advice. However, SmartXchange cannot force a monetary transaction reversal or the return of physical goods.
